a fine line publishes four themed issues a year of poems, haiku, articles, ‘talk poems’ and poetry book reviews, art and interviews on all things poetry. Send us contemporary literary work that inspires, intrigues, palpitates the heart and journeys the mind. Please view previous issues for the kind of work we prefer.

• 2025 Deadlines:  Autumn edition: March 10. Winter edition (Student edition): June 10. Spring edition: Sept 10. The theme is chiaroscuro (playing around with ideas of light and dark, art, composition, and contrasts). Summer edition: Nov 20. The theme is scene (which could refer to landscapes, or narratives, or perhaps a touch of the theatrical).
