The editor of the 2024 Annual Anthology of the New Zealand Poetry Society Te Rōpū Toikupu o Aotearoa, Margaret Moores, has selected a comprehensive, vibrant and diverse selection of poems to accompany the unforgettable winners of the NZPS International Poetry Competition in this standout collection.
165 poems and haiku by adult and junior poets are included in the anthology. The title paint me was inspired by Ella Paterson's winning Open poem, 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon,' and ekphrasis, the theme for the Open Junior entries.
This book is the highlight of the NZPS year and fabulous reading for all poets in Aotearoa.
