January 2022: Just a light refresh this month, the Christmas holiday always has me feeling indolent by now and I’m guessing plenty of people are enjoying being away from their devices and screens.
Visit Haiku Happenings to see submission details for a new anthology being edited by Robert Epstein, a couple of upcoming online events, and a teaser for the new Haiku Down Under online event in October. Also on that page is a link to a lovely selection of images and haiku by Ron C Moss and haiku by Michael Dylan Welch set to classical piano music performed by Steve Hodge.
If you’re dreaming of overseas travel Barbara Strang may ease some of the pain with her travelogue, which remains this month’s article, about a morning of discovery in Tokyo. The Contest listings have been updated through to mid-March. If you’ve been writing heaps and would like to try some new outlets for your work, why not peruse the Publications page?
If you’re looking for some reading material or would like to spend some time with articles previously published here, please go to the index of Archived Articles; or try out the index for Websites & Resources, which includes links to Youtube videos.
If you have ideas or comments about the Haiku NewZ pages, please feel free to get in touch.
