a fine line’s theme for its Spring 2021 edition is FOREST

What does the Aotearoa bush mean to you, historically, culturally, psychologically, emotionally?

What about a particular national park or a single tree?

Does the word ‘forest’ conjure up ideas of eco-poetry and politics, sustainable farming and water degradation?

We want poems that dare to roam in the deep, dark woods of your imagination.

Send us up to four of your best forest poems, each 40 lines max, by 10 September 2021.

See submission guidelines here.

Submissions are open to NZPS members only, so sign up or renew here.
