a fine line is searching for our next Student Feature Poet for the Winter edition.

We are open for submissions from student poets, secondary or tertiary. Poems can be on any theme, new or previously published. Submissions from both NZPS members and non-members are welcome. 

The chosen poet will have their poetry featured in a fine line’s Winter edition, receive a book token, and the following prizes: 

• a one-year student membership from the NZ Poetry Society;

• a one-year student membership from the NZ Society of Authors; and

• poetry books from Good Books Wellington and Food Court Books Wellington. 

Students, please email a selection of up to 4 poems (max 40 lines) and your place of study to Gail Ingram at editor@poetrysociety.org.nz, with the subject line “Featured Student Poet”.
