At the dawn of its 70th anniversary, after a lifetime spent serving the talent of some of the greatest poets worldwide, the famous French publishing house Caractères (Éditions Caractères) is working on a wonderful anthology of international poetry. Since fraternity beyond frontiers and the acknowledgement of poetry from every cultural background is the backbone of the project, they seek a Southern Pacific addition to the book. The house is looking for at least one short text in any of the South Pacific languages (Māori, Fijian, Chamorro, etc) and its translation in English that belongs to the public domain.
