The Proverse Poetry Prizes close June 30 2020!

New Zealand poets have been successful in each of these competitions in the past.

The Proverse Prize for single-author book-length fiction, non-fiction, or poetry (founded 2008) offers a cash prize and publication.

The Proverse Poetry Prize for single poems (founded 2016) offers cash prizes and anthology publication.

Entry is available through the online submissions manager.

Entry is open to all who are at least 18 years old, whatever their place of birth, residence, nationality or citizenship.

New, emerging and experienced writers are all warmly invited to participate.
