The Montreal International Poetry Prize offers a top prize of $20,000 CAD for a single poem, and is encouraging New Zealand poets to enter.

The competition is judged this year by American poet Yusef Komunyakaa, whose collection ‘Neon Vernacular: New & Selected Poems 1977-1989‘ won the Pulitzer Prize.

The deadline is fast approaching, with the competition closing on June 1. Send those entries away!
