The Poetry Class: A Reading For Writing Workshop

Join poet Joanna Preston for a workshop that climbs inside poems, finds out what makes them tick, and explores ways to use that knowledge to create poems of your own.  

This season focusing on poems by five New Zealand women – fabulous, furious, frank and funny. But which five? Wait and see! A blend of close reading and poetry writing exercises.  Suitable for all levels.   

Two Venues Available:

Saturdays:
March 2nd to 30th, 2019 (five sessions)
10.30 am to 1.30 pm
$40 at The Sydenham Room, South Library Learning Centre, 66 Colombo St, Christchurch. 
Minimum 10, Maximum 18.

Enrolments close 22nd February, 2019 or Sundays, March 10th to April 7th, 2019 (five sessions).

$40 at The Fitzgerald Room, Lincoln Event Centre, 15 Meijer Drive, Lincoln.
Maximum 10 places. Enrolments close 3rd March 2019.
